MODIband has always enjoyed mixing film with live music. Just like in the early-twentieth century, when movies were still silent and had to be accompanied by live music. We have organised film-concerts featuring silent classics by the likes of Buster Keaton, Charles Chaplin and Harold Lloyd, accompanied by piano, quartets and full orchestras. The musical arrangements may be more classical or contemporary. We also like fusing live music with more recent, artistic animated films for younger spectators, enabling them to enjoy their first cinema experience through all the senses.

Rita&Luca Films makes a careful selection of feature and short films considered to have both artistic quality and educational value. We promote a catalogue of films, premiering them at commercial cinemas, distributing them on the non-commercial cultural circuit, releasing them on DVD and circulating them through video on demand platforms. Our experience in organising My First Festival for the last ten years has helped us to become experts in films for children. Our knowledge of non-commercial films produced around the world enables us to curate customised programmes for institutions and cultural organisations of all kinds. We research and select films, manage rights, produce educational material and help organisers to produce events, if necessary.
